cons…

Tuesday, February 21st, 2006

All I have to say is that I really do not agree with the “conservative” point of view. I would consider myself a conservative but according to many simple minded republicans I am some Jesus hating, homosexual, terrorist. And if you want to think that as well you are entitled to your opinion. I do feel that I have to regularly remind republicans that they are hypocrites and I’m not completely dismissing that the Democrats aren’t, but at least we admit we have flaws. We don’t try to hold ourselves up to be righteous, fiscal conservative, democracy spreading, human beings, and then turn around and steal from the underprivileged to go bomb innocent children in foreign countries while running the deficit to a record high.

Wow! I have wanted to say that for so long I but could never really put it into words until now.

A link to a chart showing all the place the U.S. military has interviened in one way or another. Probably many more of which we know little or nothing about because it’s classified for our “national security.” One example might be East Timor (really look it up and read about it).

You republicans call us liberals, “libs”, how about we call you cons? Wait isn’t that what you are?

Anyone want to rebutle? Please, I invite you!

Yes, we do care!

One of the biggest things that I hate about the current administration is that they try to tell me what to believe. Well I came to a conclusion many years ago: Bush, Cheney, and all their cronies are a bunch of liars.

I am not and idiot or some conspiracy theorist. I just know that if you really want the truth you have to dig for it. Most people would much rather turn on Fox or even MSNBC to get all the “facts.” Anyone who is a little knowledgeable about the “facts” knows that more than likely you won’t find them on cable television. The worst is when the white house tries to tell us what we care and don’t care about. Scott, tell your boss he’s an idiot, how about that?

One more thing, I do understand accidents happen, but do you honestly think that if you or I were involved in an accident that resulted in almost killing someone we would be able to walk away and half a day later talk to police about it. No, my spic ass would be in some holding cell getting the shit beaten out of.

What ever happened to the Magna Carta? In my eyes democracy moves forward not revert back hundreds of years. Even then barons felt that the monarchy should be bound by the same laws of the land as everyone else. I guess in 21nd century America that doesn’t matter anymore.

Viva Las Vegas!

Monday, February 13th, 2006

When Caleb and Jeff went to Vegas last summer this is what they brought me back, a memento of their roller coaster ride. The only thing that bugs me is that Caleb is missing.

Oh shit I'm gonna die!

Protestors In Lebanon Destroy Danish Embassy

Sunday, February 5th, 2006

Read this short article if you still don’t understand why people are protesting in Lebanon.

In Denmark and beyond, Muslims ask: “What’s so funny?”

Whatever your beliefs are I think we can all agree that this newspaper in Denmark was a little dumb to print these cartoons. It is obvious that they might greatly offend someone. I know I would be offended if someone drew a cartoon of Jesus maybe holding a sword and a shield trying to make a connection to the crusades or different atrocities committed in His name. Those who follow Christ know that there are many things that are done in His name but are clearly far from Christian doctrine.

The same occurs here. That is why these people are protesting. I am not sure that violent demonstrations are the best way to express ones anger but they sure do get a good deal of immediate attention.

Super Mario Bros. Tunes

Saturday, February 4th, 2006

I saw this on Fazed.net and thought it was pretty cool.

Super Mario Bros. Soundboard

8 bit video games rule!

Maybe Jeff can use these sound effects in a song. I think that might be entertaining.
