Show Notes:

I finally return after a long recess. I am joined by a card hustler, and new friend, Paul. We discuss Wichita hip-hop, Venezuela’s President’s remarks at the U.N. about Bush, and tell the world to just chill and have a great time. Paul and I are trashed and are some how able to record a short podcast. Thank you to everyone who listens to my drunken, politically incorrect rants.

2Pac

Wednesday, September 13th, 2006

If you know me, you know I am a huge 2Pac fan. In the last few years I have tried to tone it down a bit, but rest assured when no one is around I still blare All Eyez On Me and all the other great albums. Like 2Pac, man “I don’t give a fuck!” He was one crazy person and made many mistakes. I actually didn’t like him at first. Then, he was on the same level as I put 50 Cent on, catchy, yet stupid, because it doesn’t say shit. Like many other kids I had a hard time in middle school. I mean I really fucking hated my school, the teachers, and most of the students. What got me through it was music. One artist that I listened to was of course 2Pac, a friend had lent me a CD and I actually began to really like his music. It was more intelligent than I ever though it would be. I learned about politics, social issues, and the struggles of life that surpassed racial lines. It seemed like this artist unlike any other knew what I was going though. He told me to remember “that after every dark night there is a bright day”. Damn, those words were so powerful to me then and actually they still are today.
