During and interview today Mitt Romney criticized Barack Obama wanting to set up a policy that will get our troops out of Iraq as soon as possible. Romney said he was glad that Obama wasn’t the president during the last year, because if he was Iraq would become a safe haven for Al Qaeda. Let me tell you a story.

When Benito Mussolini came to power, he visited Sicily. The mafia capos told him he had nothing to worry about that they would protect him there. This angered Mussolini, because usually dictators like to be the only power in control. The mafia telling him this showed that they undermined his power. So he worked to wiped them out.

Now, just like Mussolini, Saddam Hussein was also a dictator who would be offended if some other power existed withing his borders. In fact thats why the United States supported him and gave him weapons because, he could keep the country stable. Oh no America would never support a dictator. Yes, we have a long history of suppressing democracy in other countries for the sake of stability. Some might say, “Well Dick Cheney told us Al Qaeda and Saddam were collaborating before 9/11.” That claim was dismissed, but your vice president continued to tell the false story.

So we look at Iraq now and we see Al Qaeda there. Oh snap! So Mitt, who was the president in the last year really created a safe haven for Al Qaeda?

Bill ORielly wants to shut up dissenting voices. Why? This is America and being able to speak out is what makes our country so great. ORielly even tried to use F.D.R.’s policies during WWII as justifying putting people in jail who dissent today. F.D.R. was a great progressive president and inspired many democratic movements in the world. Yet, I think many liberals today will admit that many of the policies that seemed fine over half a century ago would be considered crimes today. Like lets say imprisoning innocent American citizens in internment camps.

We live in a different America and obviously Bill doesn’t see that. So if you speak out against the war, if you speak out against Bush and if you don’t agree with him, ORielly wants to shut you up even jail you. He even said we should build a fence around MoveOn.org like we are building a fence on the U.S. Mexican border. I walk around and listen to people just hang off this guys nuts. It’s pretty sad.
