More and more I am realizing that we really don’t have the freedom to protest, because it seems that anytime the masses begin to organize the riot police begin to creep put of the wood work. It has gotten to the point where it seems that every protest ends with the police gassing and arresting the citizens they are supposed to be protecting and serving. Oh yeah the land of the free alright!
During the conventions of the two big parties I noticed that cable news sucks. They try to make a story out of everything and then spin it one way or another. I watch the conventions on C-Span and I really enjoyed it. I noticed that I was able to form my own opinions of what I was watching. Then I would turn to MSNBC or Fox (don’t ask why), and in a short few minutes I would already be persuaded to believe one thing or another.
But the real deal is that these assholes don’t know anything. The so called experts got it way wrong on Iraq and they are all still all over these cable networks. Now Karl Rove is on Fox and is one of the best examples of what I am talking about. Turn the tv off, turn off the talk radio, read multiple sources of information and keep in mind that more than likely there is some agenda behind the author’s view and definitely some kind of bias.
